While feeding your baby with your body is natural it DOES NOT always come naturally!
Though instincts and reflexes provide a great foundation, feeding is a huge new skill set that both you and your baby are learning together. The better prepared you are before baby’s arrival, the less steep the learning curve will be.
Follow these steps to ensure your feeding journey is off to a great start:

Contact one of our lactation consultants as you near your due date

Complete a pre-natal lactation consultation, a meeting individualized to YOUR precise needs and goals
3
Learn about what to expect with infant feeding, have a physical exam and screen for common medical conditions that can pose challenges to bodyfeeding
4
Once your little one is in your arms, schedule a follow up to start your feeding journey on the right foot or troubleshoot any issues
